This release adds a seamless integration to Macrobond Analysis, simplifies the Claude Code sign-in experience and improves the overall user experience. This release includes a new version of the M365 Copilot Agent and the Macrobond plugin.

Integrated Workflow 

Leverage the AI Data Feed MCP for the beginning of your workflow; ideation, data discovery & exploration; and once you’ve found the data you want, simply “Open Series in Macrobond Analysis” to create a series preview in the Windows desktop application. From here you can easily transform and analyze the data further, create your branded visualizations using your stylesheet and prepare a refreshable research Macorbond document for improved productivity. 

 

Improved sign-in experience 

NEW! Stay signed in - connectors now receive a refresh token, so you are no longer asked to log in again each time the access token expires. 

NEW! Sign in from Claude Code with just the server URL - Claude Code can add the MCP server directly and log in through the browser, with no plugin or client ID needed. 

 

Performance Optimizations 

Leaner guidance for the assistant - Usage guidance is now a short server instruction plus on-demand topics for search, selection, retrieval and presentation, instead of one large document loaded every session. 

Faster tables and series picker - Sorting, column visibility, filtering, pagination and column resizing are kept and more responsive. Table rows and date controls follow the chart's zoomed range without fetching data again. 

 

Improved User Experience 

Charts - Smoother zoom and pan, a reset control, hover on the nearest series, date labels that adapt to the zoom level, and a scrolling legend that is always shown. Charts now carry the Macrobond wordmark. 

Clear loading state - Widgets show "Loading…" until data arrives. 

Calendar date picker - a calendar popover replaces the old date fields. Typed ranges such as -2y and all still work. 

Ease of use - Assistants that cannot display interactive widgets, such as Claude Code, are no longer offered them and receive text results instead. Claude.ai, ChatGPT and Microsoft 365 Copilot keep the widgets. 

 

Fixes 

Charts no longer carry the last value forward over a missing observation. Gaps are drawn as gaps.
