Welcome to the launch edition of Macrobond Amplify!
Amplify is Macrobond’s AI enabled, browser-based experience for sharing and consuming economic and financial research interactively. It takes the charts and analysis created in the Macrobond Analysis desktop application and publishes them as secure, web-accessible ‘assets’ (think: interactive chartbooks), so audiences can engage with the work directly in a browser rather than receiving static screenshots or PDFs.
Amplify is designed to remove friction between research production and research consumption. Producers keep the depth and credibility of their analysis when distributing it, while consumers can explore scenarios and context self-servingly - without needing the Macrobond Analysis desktop application installed.
The following release notes explain the key features available at launch. Please see our ‘Getting Started’ and ‘User Guide’ and tutorial videos at the following links for details on how to use the product.
Finally, as a brand new product to market, we’d love to hear your feedback – please use the in-app feedback button shown in the screenshot below to get in touch.
Enjoy!

What Amplify does
1) Publish interactive research from Macrobond Analysis to the web
Amplify adds a streamlined publishing path from Macrobond Analysis → Amplify, turning desktop charts into web-ready content that can be published and shared via links.
Published assets can include one or multiple charts in a single coherent experience, supporting ‘chartbook-style’ storytelling.
For licensed users, Amplify can also support a deeper workflow: opening published work back in Macrobond Analysis for full inspection and extension where permitted.
2) Enable a richer, interactive consumer experience in the browser
Instead of a fixed chart snapshot, published content can be configured so consumers can explore predefined scenarios and perspectives directly in the browser - e.g., switching assumptions, viewing alternative series selections, or exploring different cuts of the same analytical idea - while still preserving the publisher’s intended narrative.
Amplify also includes a clear way for a reader to reset back to the publisher’s intended view, keeping exploration safe and reversible.
3) Distribute at scale with secure access controls
Amplify is built for controlled distribution - supporting internal sharing, external sharing, and broader discovery - without losing governance. Publishers can define who can access an asset and apply per-asset controls to match organizational policies.
4) Support modern publishing workflows (including mixed content)
Amplify supports workflows that fit real-world publication needs:
- Multi-channel publishing for downstream use (e.g., publishing workflows that support traditional image→PDF at the same time as interactive asset creation).
- The ability to include non-Macrobond visuals alongside Macrobond-native interactive content, enabling mixed-media ‘research packs’.
5) Improve discovery with a consumer-friendly library experience
Amplify provides a home experience designed around finding and navigating research at scale - using filters and search to get straight to the content you need.
6) Provide engagement insight to producers and research leadership
Amplify introduces measurable feedback loops for published research. Publishers can see who is engaging with content and how it’s being used, helping teams understand what resonates, demonstrate value, and refine future output based on evidence rather than guesswork.
7) Be enterprise-ready to roll out and manage
Amplify includes foundations for enterprise deployment and administration, including:
- Support for enterprise authentication patterns (including single sign-on for selected setups).
- Admin tooling to help manage users and access lists at company level.
8) AI assistance
Amplify has integrated beta AI features at launch to reduce publishing overhead. Initial support is provided for automated chart description generation as well as automated tagging for charts and assets. We see AI as an integral part of the future state of Amplify; for research producers - speeding both delivery of insights through automation and for consumers – providing a curated, cross referenced research portal accessible through natural language.
